Abstract
Millard Avenue Congregational Church first formed in 1882 and served the community of North Lawndale for years. For a small section of time, the church was known as Lawndale Congregational Church. By 1976, due to demographic shifts, the church served a majority Hispanic population. The church continued to operate until it closed its doors in 1999.
